What is Therapy?
From the moment we are born, we begin absorbing everything in our environment. Our subconscious mind starts forming as it is shaped by early experiences, emotions, and surroundings. These initial impressions and learned patterns are stored, playing a pivotal role in shaping our behavior and influencing decision-making throughout life.
As we grow, we begin to explore and understand the wide range of emotions we are capable of experiencing. Through these experiences, we discover the transformative power of change and how challenges, such as pain and distress, can foster significant personal growth and the development of inner strength.
As we mature, we come to realize that life’s complexity often depends on our perspective and choices. Along the way, we may encounter both the joys and challenges of interpersonal relationships. At times, we may seek support or guidance to navigate the obstacles we face.
We come to understand that life is not meant to be navigated alone. Numerous resources are available to enrich our journey and help us embrace our potential as creators we are designed to be —drawing on the wisdom of elders, the support of faith, family, and friendships. At times, when faced with chaos, pain, confusion, or the need for clarity, seeking therapy can provide valuable guidance and support.
