Hello! My name is Soleana Silva, and I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Behavioral Specialist and National Certified Counselor. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
I obtained a Master of Science degree in Psychology, from Phoenix University and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from Lancaster Bible College. I am extensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy Prolonged Exposure (DBT PE). In addition, I hold a post-master’s degree certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and I hold a post-master's Graduate Certification in Counseling, Contemporary Theory in Couple and Family Systems, EXRP (exposure and ritual prevention) therapy, CBT-I Therapy (insomnia), TEAM-CBT, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy.
I am a Certified Facilitator in Group Yoga Trauma Processing and I provide individual therapy for teens and adults. I provide DBT for adolescents and adults, and facilitate trauma processing groups for women. My previous professional experience includes: providing counseling for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families utilizing varied theoretical approaches including multi-systemic therapy.
