Am I Enough? by Rachel Fatherly
Many things happen within our life that make us question am I enough? Sometimes getting rejected by a person can place this question in our minds. You may post a picture on social media and become upset because you may not get the amount of likes on a post that someone else does. You may receive a nasty comment on social media that is hurtful and simply disrespectful to you. Or you compare yourself to someone else based on beauty. What can we do when we begin to question?
First, tell yourself that you are enough. You do not need to change anything because you are great the exact way that you are. Rather than tear yourself down, let's create a shield that we can strengthen daily. This allows for us to promote self-love and strengthen our feelings about ourselves. Here are some ways that can help you practice daily:
*Tell yourself something that makes you feel great about yourself.
*Blast your favorite song and dance
*Do whatever you love to do but get yourself in the zone where you can be your biggest cheerleader and simply celebrate being you.
*Treat yourself nice and use daily affirmation as a way to improve yourself.
These are just a few things that can help your self esteem begin to grow. Rather than be fearful of being accepted by our peers, family or anyone else let's change the fearful phrase
of am I enough to I am enough. Life is too short to tear ourselves down. Let's focus on the things that we can control and be kind to ourselves. Know that you are good enough and we are all unique and special in our own way. You are worthy and deserve the best. Say it with me “I am enough” and “I am worthy”. The goal is to work towards healing,
improving and growing as individuals. Pain is a feeling that can correlate to being unworthy. Let's start off 2021 healing, growing and becoming the best version of ourselves. You are enough and you matter. These are some affirmations that you can use daily:
I am strong. I am beautiful. I am enough.
