Soul Talks with Mama Davis
Hello! I am here if you just want to talk; I listen to understand not just to reply.
I am here if you need professional development or training workshops for your staff.
My name is Christina Davis. I am a mother of eight and a grandmother of nineteen. I received my Master’s Degree from Pennsylvania State University and Bachelor of Science Degree from Towson State University. I am a retiree from Lancaster Lebanon Community Education; I supervised the Lebanon County program. Before taking on the position of supervisor I was an Adult Education instructor which took on many hats. One of my assignments included teaching at the Lebanon County Correctional Facility.
After many years of teaching, I took on the position of Professional Development Coordinator of Southeast Pennsylvania. I coordinated, developed, and facilitated professional development for Adult Educators in the Southeast Pennsylvania counties. In addition to working with Adult Educators, I have developed trainings and presented to several businesses and K12 schools in Pennsylvania.
I am a recipient of the Coretta Scott King Award of Excellence and Adult Educator of the Year Award. I am a graduate of Leadership Lebanon Valley and have served on numerous boards in my community.
I love to empower and educate others to meet their goals. The empowerment may come from groups or staff participating in professional development. The empowerment may come by having a one on one “sit down” conversation. I am a very good listener and life experiences have afforded me wisdom to pass on to others. I have learned many things through my life experiences and I am willing and ready to use the wisdom I have obtained over the years to help you.
